Music & Meaning: Bach and the Bible

Join conductor and educator Elias Salazar and select local musicians for an evening exploring the influence of Scripture on the music of Johann Sebastian Bach.

We will go beyond the notes to discover how Bach, a composer driven by deep personal faith, used biblical themes, texts, and theology to shape some of the most enduring musical masterpieces ever created.

Elias will present alongside live chamber performances of Bach’s works. You do not need to be a classical music aficionado to enjoy this unique intersection of history, music, and faith!
